Rise In Sales Of Properties
Property sales handled through the Christchurch Multiple Listing Bureau for the half-year to September 30 rose to 395 compared with 393 for the same period last year.
The value of sales also rose, to £36,800. Listings so far this year are down to 695 from 721 but the sales in the half-year rose to 56.8 per cent of listings against 54.5 per cent for the same period in 1964.
