Control Of Living Costs

AUCKLAND, Oct. 19.
The national council of the Railway Tradesmen’s Association. meeting in about a fortnight. will be asked to urge the Federation of Labour to seek a special wage order if the cost of living jumps with the change t" decimal currency in 1967. The Auckland branch executive of the association said today it had little confidence in oromises that the Government would be able to control increases in the cost of living expected to result from the change.
