Nurse Brigade Wins Te Awamutu Cup
(N.Z. Press Association) TE AWAMUTU. Nurse Brigade easily won the Te Awamutu Trotting Cup, first leg of the double at the Te Awamutu Trotting Club’s meeting on Saturday. Nurse Brigade beat Herby Tryax. P. T. Volfenden, who drove Nurse Brigade, drove five other winners, a second and a third during the two days. Tamaki Glen, which lost his position but> came again in the straight, won the second leg, the Waipa Handicap from Overluck and Lord Worsley. Results;—
