Avon Camera Club Slides
Acceptances for the Avon Camera Club’s colour-slide competitions for the last three months are.—Mrs L. E. Humphreys, one untitled; Mr M. Smith, “Lynne,” “Orchids,” “Mother of Millions,” and two untitled; Mr K. G. Rossiter, one untitled; Mr J. R. Sandle, “Golden Sunrise” and “The Fisherman;" Mr H. Tomlinson, “Ebb Tide;” Mr H. Batchelor, “Paradise Valley;” Mr C. Herrett, “What Can I Do,” “Rainbow of Lights,” and “Wet Night.” The judge was Mr D. Meredith.
Y.M.C.A. Camp.—More than 230 boys have already enrolled for the Y.M.C.A. Christmas camp, to be held at Wainui from January 1 to January 26. Three-hundred and twenty boys can be accommodated in the main camp, and 20 high school boys in the disciplined adventure camp. Enrolments from boys who are not members of the Y.M.C.A. will be accepted this week.
