Linwood House Brings £3350
A four-roomed cottage on a section of 47 perches, zoned residential B, at 483 Gloucester street, Linwood, was sold for £3350 at public auction yesterday. The auctioneer was Mr G. H. Kissell.
A weatherboard house at 219 River road, Avonside, was passed in at £5OOO. The property was offered by Ford and Hadfield Ltd., acting in conjunction with Maurice Gardiner and Company. The auctioneer was Mr D. Chapman. The house has two living rooms, a sunroom, and four bedrooms.
Four flats at 13 Salisbury street have been sold by private treaty by Hutchinson White, Ltd. The property was passed in at £11,200 when offered at auction recently.
