Thirty-seven horses, including the top New Zealand hopes, Royal Duty and Sail Away, are final acceptors for the mile and a-half Caulfield Cup to be run at Caulfield on Saturday. Unless there are sufficient scratchings between now and Thursday, the Victoria Amateur Turf Club will reduce the field to 20 starters, the maximum-size field that can be run with safety at Caulfield.
