30 Vehicles Converted
Only two of 30 vehicles unlawfully taken in Christchurch last month were locked. Eleven of the vehicles taken had the ignition keys in the switches. Damage done to the vehicles taken amounted to £219, one of the vehicles being damaged to the extent of £136. All the vehicles have been recovered, most of them being found within a day or two of being taken. One car was missing for 12 days.
