REFUGEE INJURED
Protest To East Berlin (NjZ P.A -Reuter —Copyright) BONN. October 10. Britain's Ambassador in Bonn. Sir Frank Roberts, has protested against “unfeeling and inhuman” East German border guards who blazed away with sub-machine guns yesterday as a refugee crashed a bus across the West German border. He made the protest to the Soviet Ambassador in East Berlin. The 41-year-old East German crashed through checkpoint barriers at the East German control point of Marienborn. A bullet was later removed from his knee, and West German police said he was in good condition. The bus and the West German checkpoint building were hit Ly East German bullets.
