Third round results in the Tisdall Trophy night tennis competition, played at the South Christchurch Tennis Club's courts, were:—
Waimairi I 4 sets, St. Pauls 2: Ouruhia 5. Waimairi II 1; Mount Pleasant 5. Rlccarton I 1; Riccarton II 4. Burwood 2: Fendalton 31, Railway Badminton 21: South Christchurch II 4. Sprey don II 2. Four matches were postponed by rain.
