NEW SPACE STATION
Alternative To Woomera (Hl. Press Assn.—Copyright) MELBOURNE, Oct. 10. Britain is studying the possibility of establishing a new station in northern Australia for the launching of space rockets, Britain's Minister of Aviation. Mr Roy Jenkins, has revealed. Work would continue at Woomera for a few years yet. however, as there were commitments there for at least another two to three years—and probably more later.
