GORED BY BULL
Man Seriously Injured (N.Z. Press Association) NfJLSON, October 4. A 23-year-old Chinese man was gored by a bull at Appleby, 13 miles from Nelson. He is Yee Fung, who works on his parents’ market garden at Appleby. He suffered fractures of the jawbone and cheekbone and bad bruising. He underwent an operation at the Nelson Public Hospital today. The accident happened on Friday on the farm of a neighbour, Mr G. P. A. Kellor. Mr Yee had gone to help Mr Kellor replace the broken chain on a three-year-old Friesian bull.
