PRESLEY’S CONTRACT
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) HOLLYWOOD, Sept. 22. Elvis Presley has been signed to a second 10-year contract by R.C.A. records in an unprecedented move by the company, it was announced today. Presley, the first major star of the rock ’n’ roll era, was signed -by the same firm almost a decade ago when starting out. He has been the company’s largest-selling record star in the last decade. Now completing his eighth motion picture for Hal Wallis. “Paradise Hawaiian Style,” Presley will make two movies with M.G.M. later.
