Seeking New League Rules
(N.Z. Pres* Association) AUCKLAND, Sept. 15. Some departures from international rules are to be sought by the Auckland Rugby League Board of Control in an effort to brighten up club play next season. A remit to the forthcoming annual conference of the New Zealand League will ask that the tap penalty be allowed, and restarting play after injury with a play-the-ball instead of a scrum.
