QUINS’ MOVE
Board Will Make Plans | <Frotn Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON. Sept. 14. Any plans for an opening ceremony when the Lawson quintuplets move into the family’s new home at Henderson should be discussed with the Auckland Hosnital Board, the Minister of Health (Mr McKay) has told the solicitor for the family, Mr A. N. Goold. Mr Goold had asked Mr McKay’ to open the home and to say what arrangements would be made for an opening ceremony. The property, the Minister said in a letter to Mr Goold, was to be occupied temporarily by the Lawsons as their private home. “The board is acting as agent for the Government in any matters relating to the property and I would suggest therefore that you discuss the question of the move with the board.” he said. As Mr McKay will leave New Zealand on September 27 to attend an international health conference in Edinburgh it is considered unlikely he will be able to take part in a ceremony.
