LINWOOD H.S.
Tenders For Gymnasium
Tenders for the building of ! a gymnasium had closed on I August 20, said the headmaster (Mr P. A. Hickling) when presenting his report at the monthly meeting of the Linwood High School board of governors. Commenting on the recent conference of the New Zealand Secondary School Boards’ Association, held recently in Christchurch, Mrs A. J. McDonald said that the conference had been reorganised completely. In future eight delegates and two executive members from each of the five regions would attend such conferences. This meant that the number of delegates would be reduced from 180 to 50.
