Longreach Picked For Gisborne Win
The T.A.B. double on the Poverty Bay Turf Club’s meeting at Gisborne tomorrow will be on the President’s and Makaraka Hack Handicaps. The track should again be heavy. The first three home in the first leg of the hunt meeting on Saturday, Caramelle, Passionate and David Jeff, should fight out the finish of the President’s Handicap, and Longreach should add further to his string of four successive wins from as many starts this season by taking the Makaraka Hack Handicap.
