TRUCK LEFT ROAD
Driver Killed Instantly

WHANGAREI, Sept. 18.
A man was Willed instantly when the truck he was driving left the Utakura Hill, four miles west of Gkaahau. about 1.15 p.m. on Saturday and rolled 50 feet down a steep hillside. He was: Kami Shelford, also known as Sam Shelford. aged 75, married, a farmer, of Rautilriri, Whakapara.
A passenger in the truck. Williams Luke, aged 46. single, a forest worker, of Whakapara, suffered broken ribs. He was taken to hospital at Kawakawa.
