THORNETT LEADS WINNING SIDE
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copgripht) SYDNEY, September 12. The Wallaby captain. J. E. Thornett, led his Northern Suburbs team to a 19-13 win over Sydney University at North Sydney Oval on Saturday. Northern Suburbs, championship winner for the last two years, meets Randwick in the grand final next Saturday. Suburbs scored four tries, two conversions and a dropped goal, to University’s three tries and two conversions.
