SETTING NEW RECORDS
The Springbok centre, J. L. Gainsford, and the New Zealand lock, C. E. Meads, will set new records for test appearances for their respective countries at Lancaster Park tomorrow. Meads will be playing in his thirty-second test, one more than the former record holder, D. B. Clarke. Gainsford will bring his total of tests to 29, breaking J. Claassen’s record of 28.
