320,000 In Army (N.Z.PA.-Reuter—Copyright) DJAKARTA. Sept. 1. The strength of the Indonesian armed forces is 500,000 men, according to the Defence Minister. General A. H Nasu.ion. The armed forces newspaper reported General Nasution as telling visiting foreign journalists that the trained civil defence corps consisted of 10 million people. He said the Army had 320,000 regular troops, the Navy 40,000, the Air Force 30,000, and the police 110,000.
