PROJECTS IN EAST

(N.Z Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 1. Dr. B. C. Lee, superintendent of technical education with the Department of Education in Wellington, has returned from a tour of Southeast Asia. He studied technical projects with which New Zealand is associated in Vietnam, Thailand, Burma, Hong Kong. Singapore, Malaysia, and North Borneo.
He said he was particularly impressed by. the provision of metal and woodwork equipment to schools in the Philippines. “There is a need for this kind of aid,” he said.
