Lemon cups are really little baked custards with sponge tops. They are interesting to make and easy to prepare for a sweet that everyone will enjoy. This recipe makes eight cup custards. You will need: 1 cup sugar 1 cup flour * 1-8 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons melted butter 5 tablespoons lemon juice * Crated peel of 1 lemon * 3 well beaten egg yolks I 1) cups scalded milk - 3 stiff beaten egg whites - Method: Combine sugar, flour, salt and butter. Add jemon juice and grated peel. -Beat egg yolks thoroughly.
