Pursuant to the Town ano Country Planning Regulations, 1960, public notice is hereby given that the undermentioned changes to the District Scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act, 1953. for the City of Christchurch were approved by the council on August 16. 1965. The council has resolved that the changes to the district scheme shown in the schedule hereunder shall come into operation on August 17, 1965. Copies of the scheme changes as approved have been deposited In the Council Offices, 194 Manchester street, and in the Canterbury Public Library, Cambridge terrace, and may be inspected without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public. SCHEDULE MAP AMENDMENT No. 29: Those areas bounded by the railway, Waltham road, Wordsworth street, and Durham street now zoned Residential B, Commercial A and B and shown on Plan Syd. CODE AMENDMENT No. 30: The addition of the following clause to ordinance 6. 6 (2A) "That except with , the consent of the coun cil, development shall nol be permitted in the deferred development areas of zones before the respective dates on the district planning map. Until such respective dates the uses prescribed as predomin ant for the zones shall be deemed to be conditional uses in the deferred development areas of those zones and the provisions of the code of ordinance relating to conditional uses and in particular ordinance 8, shall apply to such, conditional uses."
