(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) WASHINGTON, August 12. The Viet Cong lost about 7500 men in May, June and July, the United States Defence Secretary (Mr McNamara) said yesterday. In the same three months, South Vietnam lost 3000 to 3100 men and the United States about 130. Mr McNamara gave the figures to reporters after testifying in secret before the House of Representatives foreign affairs committee.
