BERLIN WALL RACKETEERS
(N Z P A -Reuter— Copyright! WEST BERLIN, Aug. 6. West Berlin police are on the trail of racketeers who make their money by organising escapes across the Berlin wall. The City Government spokesman said yesterday that these men planned escapes not for East Germans facing nolitical persecution but only for those who could pa'’ cash —sometimes up to £7oo—to buy their way to the West.
