RICCARTON HAD HEAVY FOG YESTERDAY, but training for Grand National Steeples Day tomorrow went on without interruption. These photographs show: TOP LEFT.—Southern Cloud (C. McGovern) finishing a round of the steeplechase course with a brilliant leap at Cutts’s brush. TOP RlGHT.—Giipey was not so sure of himself at this hurdle, the fourth he jumped. He gave M. Parr an anxious moment when he got in close. BOTTOM LEFT.—The Grand National favourite, Koral, finishing a solid round just behind his stablemate, MacDonald. BOTTOM RlGHT.—Peacemaker being given a sighter run over one of the hurdles. He will run in the Jumpers’ Flat tomorrow.
