Riccarton H.S. Wins Tourney
Riccarton High School defeated Kaikorai Valley High School for the P.T.A. Shield In the annual winter tournament held in Dunedin. Results were, Riccarton scores first:— Boys.—Rugby. 9-9; soccer. Si: indoor basketball, 26-33; Harriers, lost although B. MeLelland won the event. Girls. —Basketball A. 22-38: basketball B. 19-28: Indoor basketball, 17-6; hockey. 2-1. The boys' hockey team lost to Waitakl Boys’ High School. 0-4, in the annual match.
