Company Fined £75 CN.Z. Press Association) NAPIER, July 23. There had been no evidence of wilful negligence, Mr W. K. L. Dougall said in the Magistrate’s Court at Napier today when hi fined Long and Barden, Ltd., of Hastings, £75 for selling a bottle of Coca Cola containing 0.12 per cent of sodium arsenate. The company had pleaded! not guilty. The Magistrate said he was not satisfied the company had taken reasonable precautions. He recommended that two men be assigned to operate a washer and sightscreen where only one worked at present, because the two hours customarily worked by one man was too long without a break.
