PURSUANT to the provisions of Section 35 (1) of the above l Act and of Regulation 32 of the Town and Country Planning Regulations, 1960, BURGESS AND STOREY FOUNDRY CO., LIMITED (hereinafter referred to as "the Applicant”), a duly incorporated Company having its registered office at Christchurch, HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that it is to apply to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board for Its consent to a speified departure from the provisions of the above District Scheme in so far as it affects 1 certain land, namely—all that parcel of land situated in Block XII of the Christchurch Survey District containing' three roods and fifteen perches being Lot 2 Deposited Plan No. 11544 part Rural Section 1146, and being all the land in Certificate of Title Volume 555 Folio 35, and known as Number 455 Linwood avenue, Christchurch, upon which land is erected the Company’s foundry premises and offices. The Applicant asks that a specified departure be made from the present zoning as Residential "A” to permit the Applicant to erect additions to its existing foundry buildings on the aforesaid land. The additions are to the rear of the existing premises and comprise a total of approximately 3200 square feet. Any person or body objecting to or supporting the proposals or desiring any variation of them is required to submit arguments in writing to the Town Clerk, Christchurch City Council, not later than August 16, 1965. Any person or body so objecting or supporting the applicant Is entitled to be heard by the Council or by a Committee thereof constituted for the purpose. A copy of the Application which sets out the proposed purposes in full and includes plans and specifications may be inspected during office hours at the Christchurch City Council Chambers.
