Lecturer, £A2400—7 x £loo—SENIOR LECTURER IN PHYSICS The appointee should have a Ph.D. in Physics (or equivalent in research publications) and some University teaching experience. He should have an intimate knowledge of some branch of physics to the extent that he is competent to lecture on it to graduates and Final Honours undergraduates. (September 3). SENIOR LECTURER OR LECTURER IN GEOLOGY PETROLEUM GEOLOGIST Applicants should have a Science degree specialising in Geology and research experience to Ph.D. or comparable level. He should have recent experience in a productive oil field, and be well trained in modern petroleum techniques as well as having experience in exploration geology. The appointee will be expected to teach and develop modern petroleum geology, a field in which the Department has recently become actively engaged (August 27). The University provides superannuation similar to F.S.S.U., housing assistance, study leave and travel grants.
