Applicants must have a sound knowledge of all work in connexion with the maintenance of golf links or golf courses, including all work entailed in the upkeep of tees, fairways, and greens. A good working knowledge of tractors, motor mowers and all machinery and equipment employed on the links and sports fields is essential. The successful applicant will also be responsible for the proper care of all tools and equipment. The salary for this position has a range of £1033—£1078 per annum, and the Head Grounds man is entitled to 20 per cent of all camping ground fees that he collects. A three-bedroomed house, rent free, will be supplied to the successful applicant.
