Junior Side To Tour
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 23. A junior hockey team of 16 boys from Britain and two from Canada will arrive in New Zealand on August 23 for the second part of an Australasian tour. The boys, aged between 165 and 184, were selected from teams which took part in the annual public schools hockey festival at Oxford this year. They will open their New Zealand itinerary against a Colts team at Christchurch on August 25. Their other games are:— August 26 v. secondary schools team, Ashburton; August 27 v. colts’ team, Dunedin; August 28 v. secondary schools team, Wellington: August 31 v. colts’ team. Wellington; September 1 and 2 v. secondary schools teams, Auckland.
