Gold Badges
(N.Z: Press Association) TAURANGA, July 21. Five gold honours badges, the highest award of the Dominion Federation of Country Women’s Institutes, were announced after the offimiai opening of the organisation’s annual general meeting in Tauranga today. The badges were presented by the Dominion president, Mrs E. D. Holt, to Mesdames H. M. Ferguson of Eastern Otago, A. Howard of Wanganui, L. M. Kellaway of Canterbury, and J. Turner of Hawke’s Bay, for services to the community through the C.W.I. movement. Mrs S. G. Morgan, of North Taranaki, was unable to be present to receive her badge.
