Record Inquiries
Inquiries about the record “Wait for Me,” which features commentaries on some of P. G. Snell’s races and a pop tune, have been received from as far afield as England. The organiser of the Peter Snell youth village appeal committee, Mrs J. Voullaire. said the British Broadcasting Corporation had asked a recording company about the record. The committee hopes to send copies to the 8.8. C., but whether it does so will depend on the New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation, which holds the copyright. The record will be on sale on August 1, but only in the Auckland province.
