50 Ministers Wanted
(N.Z. Press Association)
AUCKLAND, July 14. There are more than 50 vacancies for ministers in the Presbyterian Church in New Zealand, the Auckland presbytery was told tonight. The Rev. W. B. Watt, of Wellington, director of the Presbyterian Home Ministry for New Zealand, said the situation had become acute because of the growing population and the retirement of ministers.
“There is a strong need for men and women for fulltime service,” he said.
