Refugees Need No Visas
ROME, Italy has ratified the European agreement on the abolition of visas for refugees. Under the agreement, refugees living to one member country are allowed, in certain conditions, to travel to another member country of the Council without a visa. The eight other countries which have ratified the agreement are Belgium, Denmark, France, Federal Republic of Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden. These countries have thus agreed to facilitate the free movement of refugees and to abolish discriminatory measures which they are still subjected to in several European countries.
