[ The Australian runner, Ron Clarke, said yesterday he will, try to break through the 28min. barrier for 10,000; metres at Oslo today, United! Press International reported.' The world record is 28min' 14sec, which Clarke set in! Finland last month. "I am feeling in great shape and 1 believe I have a sound chance to cover the distance, inside 28 minutes. Clarke said.' “En route, I also want a crack at the six-mile record, which 1 lost to the Americans, Bill Mills and Gerry Lind-! gren, last month.” This year Clarke has broken eight world records. In London last Saturday, he became the first man to run 1 three miles in under 13 minutes. achieving 12min 52 2-ssec.
