Team Going To Aust
(N.Z. Press Association > WELLINGTON, July 14 A 12-man New Zealam men’s basketball team will tour Australia this year. It will compete in the Aus tralian state championships and then tour North Queensland. The team, which will leave New Zealand on September 25 and return on October 9, was announced today:— B. V. Bowden, A. H. Bland (Wellington), R. C. James (Wanganui). R. E. Meads, R J. Piddock (Hamilton), D. C Sharp (Otago), D. S. Norris (Auckland), D. W. Taylor. I. D. Harford. C. Cotton. K. Baddiley (Nelson), W. H. Shaw (Marlborough).
