CLASHES IN ECUADOR
Free Elections Sought (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) GUAYAQUIL (Ecuador), July 14 The military command of Guayaquil has imposed a curfew on the city and light tanks and trucks patrolled the streets.
Quito and Guayaquil, Ecuador’s two largest cities, have been tense for several days as students and political groups tried to demonstrate for free elections.
