HUMAN FOOT FOUND
Hospital To Investigate (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 13. The Auckland Hospital Board is investigating the finding of a human foot at Mount Wellington on Saturday. It is understood that a dog found it in a rubbish tip and brought it home to his master. The Acting Superintendent-in-Chief for the board (Dr D. R. Goodfellow) said tonight that he had asked Green Lane Hospital to begin a full investigation to see if the foot came from the hospital. “We are looking into the whole thing very closely,” said Dr. Goodfellow. “The police are involved, too.”
