CANTERBURY FR. MEAT
Balance Dale Changed Directors of Canterbury Frozen Meat Company. Christchurch, have decided to change their balance date from October 31 to October 1. Shareholders have been told this in a circular letter. With the trend towards an early opening of the works in October the accounts at October 31 are bound to include part of the following season’s operations, the chairman (Mr L. D. Cotterill) says. This renders it difficult to correctly assess the outcome of any one complete season. Mr Cotterill adds that it is not proposed to alter the date of the annual general meeting.
