Operation.—The Auckland representative Rugby forward, L. Fell, underwent an' operation yesterday. He suffered concussion and a possible fractured skull in a club match last Saturday.
Fencing.—Russia won the world sabre team fencliig cham plonshlp when It beat Italy, 9-7, in the final at Parts on Monday.
