Cordial Makers’
Wage Increase Workers making soft drinks and cordials have been given increased wages from June 21 by a new award issued by the Court of Arbitration. It embodies the terms of a settlement reached in conciliation. Adult male workers are granted increases ranging from 10s 8d to Ils lOd a week, and - for adult females increases are from 6s 7d to 6s lid.
Junior workers are given •ncreases of from 6s 4d to 8s 9d a week.
Workers holding the diploma in soft drink manufacturing 'receive an additional 7s 6d a week.
