13 DEGREES OF FROST
Heaviest Since July 6
A frost of 13 degrees, the heaviest since last Tuesdav was recorded .yesterday at Harewood. At the Botanic Gardens, the frost was 10 degrees. The heaviest frost this month was of 15 degrees, recorded at the airport on July 4, when there was an 11-dc-gree frost at the Botanic Gardens. There have been nine frosts al Harewood this month, and seven at the Botanic Gardens. The maximum temperature recorded yesterday at Harewood was 49 degrees at 2 p.m. At 9 a.m. the temperature was 27 degrees, at noon 44 degrees, and at 3 p.m. 46 degrees. The Botanic Gardens recorded 50 degrees at 3 p.m., and 51 degrees showed on the Government Life building at 4.15 p.m. The day was sunny and without wind.
