RETURNING FROM BATTLE AREA.—South Vietnamese relief troops, carrying bags of equipment and unexpended mortar rounds, returning to Due Hoa. The relief forces went to the battle area, three miles from Due Hoa, after the Viet Cong had attacked a Government battalion. Action was broken off by the Viet Cong.
