15-Degree Frost
A 15-degree frost the heaviest this year, was recorded at Harewood yesterday morning, and the air temperature at 5.30 a.m. was 23.8 degrees, the coldest recorded at Harewood since July, 1961. The temperature at Harewood at 9 a.m. was 26 degrees, rising to 41 degrees by midday. The maximum was 47 degrees, between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m, The temperature on the Government Life building at 4 p.m, was 49 degrees. A 12-degree frost was recorded at Harewood on Saturday.
