Warm Day The maximum temperature at Harewood yesterday, 68 degrees at midday, was the second highest temperature recorded at the airport this month. There was no fog and no frost in the morning, and at 9 a.m., the temperature was 52 degrees. Tasman Free Trade The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) has had private talks with the Australian Prime Minister (Sir Robert Menzies) on the prospect of a limited free trade area between New Zealand and Australia. Mr Holyoake said last night he could not elaborate further, but the Minister of Overseas Trade (Mr Marshall) would meet his Australian opposite (Mr McEwen) in Canberra some time next month. —London, June 23.
