Waterfront Rescue Demonstrated
The rescue of a man from the cab of a waterfront crane was demonstrated at Lyttelton on Saturday by the St. John Ambulance Brigade. The “patient” was lowered on a stretcher.
Two other “patients,” were brought ashore from the tug Lyttelton. One was hoisted on a stretcher from the tug’s engine room and another from the deck.
