FINED FOR ASSAULT

Roy Ernest Frost, a 22-year-old seaman of the Wairimu, pleaded guilty to a charge of assaulting Warwick Darrach Andrew on the Lyttelton overhead bridge on Sunday evening, when he appeared before Messrs J. B. Collett and D. Loader, Justices of the Peace, in the Lyttelton Magistrate’s Court yesterday. He was fined £2 10s.

A 17-year-old deck boy, Raymond James Wilson, who was also charged with assault, was remanded on bail- to July 7.
