Interim Suspension Of Solicitor
Mr Justice Wilson in the Supreme Court yesterday ordered the suspension from practice of a Fijian solicitor, Shaheed Mohammed, pending a decision by the Court of Appeal whether Mohammed should be struck from the roll of solicitors of the Supreme Court in New Zealand.
Acting on an application by the Canterbury District Law Society (Mr P. H. T. Alpers) his Honour recommended that a ease be stated to the Court of Appeal on its motion asking for Mohammed to be struck from the rolls, and ordered the suspension in the meantime.
